Director of Product Mgmt

he goal of this role is to grow sales of Cutting Tool Divisions Standard product portfolio. The Director of Product Management is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Cutting Tools Business Unit dedicated to Standard Tooling. This is a newly created role and Business Unit. Position is responsible and accountable for all internal organization requirements to support Divisional Channel Managers with defined requirements needed to be successful in the market and drive growth. The position will work closely with Channel Sales Managers, Marketing, Sales Support, and Business Development for commercial alignment. The position will work closely with Operations General Managers to ensure commercial requirements and KPI's are established, measured, and achieved. This role will be the ARCH Cutting Tool Divisions internal champion for the Voice of the Customer for Standard Tooling. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. o Define, consolidate, and promote Standard tooling product portfolio. o Work with Channel Sales Managers to define sales strategy for Business Unit. o Create and promote Business Unit sales information, marketing content, and   promotions for Standard Tooling. o Develop and Monitor Business Unit KPI's for each Channel to meet commercial    objectives. o Lead pricing and competitive analysis of product line. o Work with Operational General Managers to establish and monitor customer    critical KPI's, feedback loops, and operational corrective actions to ensure    customers' requirements are met. o Set and establish inventory levels for Business Unit. o Lead SKU management program for Standard Tooling product portfolio. o Establish product line technical expertise and commercial support resources. o Responsible for collecting market intelligence for new product development. o Achievement of related sales budgets, goals, and objectives for the Business   Unit. o Support Channel Managers with pricing and product positioning o Develop Business Unit sales budgets by product line and key activities, initiatives,    projects, and plans to exceed budget o Identify key opportunities and projects. o Support Channel Sales Managers to develop training tools and programs. o Be an internal subject matter expert on the Cutting Tools Standard Tools    product portfolio o Work closely with Leadership Team to build value in ARCH Cutting Tools brand o Performs all duties effectively in the most cost-efficient manner possible. o Performs all other duties assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: o Team Leadership - Requires strong leadership and motivation o Defines team roles and responsibilities; supports group problem solving;    ensures progress toward goals. o Design - Demonstrates attention to detail. o Must be customer focused o Problem solving / analytical skills - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely    manner; develops alternative solutions. o Organization skills o Technical capacity o Communication proficiency o Judgement - Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; makes timely    decisions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
