Job type: Contract to hire
Start date: As soon as onboarding initially through May 5, 2025
Worksite: Must be able to work 3 days a week onsite in Bloomfield Hills, MI (T, W, TH)
Primary role: Recruitment for FTE roles with a focus on Engineering related to the Automotive Industry
This person will play a key role in driving recruiting strategies, scalable processes, and act as the subject matter expert for all talent acquisition needs in the region. In this role you will partner with hiring managers and other cross functional partners to drive innovative talent acquisition solutions within the region.
Your job will be to develop a recruitment strategy, recruit, and help to hire top talent that will support company growth.
We are looking for a decision-maker with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You need to be able to recognize and attract the best candidates for particular job positions.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Full life cycle recruiting that includes meeting with hiring managers to identify hiring needs, build an effective recruiting strategy, and set/manage clear process and delivery expectations
  • Optimize operational process flows and identify ways to deliver a consistent, scalable, customer obsessed recruitment experience to all stakeholders
  • Act as trusted partner, consultant, and advisor to hiring managers, HR Managers and HR Business Partners by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market
  • Demonstrate all aspects of sourcing and candidate development including job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Manage overall data integrity within the applicant tracking system

Qualifications
  • You are currently based and eligible to work in the Bloomfield Hills area
  • 5
    years of previous experience in recruitment (combination of agency and in house is a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or another relevant field

Additional experience and skills that will set you apart:
  • Must be able to handle a req load of 15-25 openings
  • Experience with Engineering recruiting (Automotive industry experience is a big plus including OEM)
  • Ability to translate business/organizational needs as they relate to recruiting lifecycle
  • Candidate experience centric
  • Lead with a customer centric approach with a proven ability to build trust and credibility with both candidates and hiring managers
  • A highly structured and organized individual who can prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • A high attention to detail to identify risks, investigate and discover the key cause and impact of options, decisions and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to use applicant tracking system and social media tools - Workday experience is a plus!
  • An ability to work independently and drive recruiting seamlessly, quickly and with passion
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills, ability to influence, experience sourcing, screening and qualifying candidates
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment and an international environment
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and an unmatched desire to provide excellent service to our candidates, hiring teams, and recruiting partners
  • Is solution oriented, result driven, proactive and flexible
  • Has a strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful, works independently, motivated by own drive and passion, capable of working independently as well as working in a team
  • Demonstrates personal accountability and integrity

Experience in the automotive industry recruiting for related engineers is highly preferred. Max bill rate of $73/hr, must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future as this is a temp to hire position. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
