We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically strong Software/Embedded focused Manager to lead the team of PMs in our rapidly growing global team.
You will have the opportunity to lead the team working on exciting next generation experiences in some of the world's leading automobiles.
The successful candidate will enjoy working with high caliber, cross functional teams to develop high quality software program team They will have the chance to make an impact and shape the development process going forward with key leadership in a highly visible role.
They will also have a proven record of delivering new and challenging software features, ideally in an embedded environment.
This individual will enjoy collaborating with a diverse team, establishing strong relationships with other leaders, while learning and sharing knowledge.
Responsibilities:
o Lead the team of Software Program Managers within Bose Automotive Software Department.
o Leadership of the PMO function.
o Establishing a clear vision for the PMO with a delivery roadmap including interim milestones and long-term measures of success / key performance indicators.
o Responsible for establishing uniform project planning and execution processes across all projects.
o Coordinate and synchronize across software development teams and other internal groups to execute software delivery on time and with high quality.
o Facilitate the dissemination of project management best practices and provide assistance in utilizing the toolkit.
Offer support for training initiatives and contribute to reporting enhancements.
o Lead project status meetings by establishing standardized reporting structures across all projects.
o Build and maintain partner relationships across Bose Automotive Software Department and partners.
o Analyzing data including portfolio budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
o Conduct project audits and lessons learnt.
o Monitor and review work stream risk/dependency/action logs.
o In charge of gathering and centralizing project data from Project Managers and business stakeholders to generate routine reports and provide valuable insights for governance at all levels.
o Acknowledge interdependencies among programs, take action to alleviate or resolve bottlenecks, and advocate for the effective utilization of resources.
o Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management.
o Communicate and report programs status within internal and external stakeholders.
o Aid in financial planning and resource forecasting for regional programs.
o Act as the escalation contact for matters involving project planning, issues tracking, scope changes, risks, or interfaces/dependencies and project status reporting.
o Oversee and effectively manage the performance of staff members, ensuring the achievement of your team's annual OKRs.
o Attracts, develops, and retains high-caliber program/project leaders & individual contributors.
o Provide monthly training on project methodology and other training as needed.
Skills &
Experience:
o 10
years of software program management experience and have demonstrated history of effectively overseeing numerous software programs, excel in defining and optimizing project planning, monitoring, and execution within the realm of automotive software development.
o Requires an advanced proficiency in project management skills, along with a demonstrated history of actively engaging in project planning (including Work Breakdown Structure creation) and developing automated project planning templates, spanning the past 3-5 years specifically in the domain of large-scale automotive software development projects.
o Experience managing a team and ideally a PMO function.
o Capable of working independently with a high degree of self-initiative and a strong sense of autonomy.
o Experience interacting with customers, senior executives, and business leaders.
o Ability to prioritize workload and manage team effectively.
o Proficient in financial tracking and cost management, ensuring that software programs are executed within the designated budgetary constraints.
o Ability to establish and maintain key partnership engagements.
o Experience in managing suppliers and third-party development partners.
o Experience with industry standards such as ASPICE and Agile methodologies.
o Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, customers, partners, business analysts, architects, subject matter expertso Familiarity with programming languages or technical knowledge can facilitate effective communication with the development team and aid in understanding technical challenges.

Education and Certificates:
o Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required.
Master's degree is preferred.
o PMP or PRINCE2 Certification is strongly desired.
o Additional certifications or training in Agile and Scrum methodologies can demonstrate a deeper understanding of these popular project management frameworks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
