Job Description:
o Ideally looking for Degreed Electrical Engineers, Harness experience with CAD tools background (MG Capital Harness would be great, but Creo/UG/Solidworks, etc is acceptable as well.o Not a CAD Designer role but needs to understand 3D CAD modeling.o Looking for conceptual electrical engineering knowledge, BOMs and part selection experienceExperience Required:

Bachelor's Degree The role of Harness Design Engineer Specialist will be working in our Harness Group and be responsible for helping to designing and constructing Electrical Harness Designs that will be used in our next generation of combat vehiclesResponsibilities to Anticipate for this role:
o Assist in designing electrical wiring harnesses to include component selection for connectors, back shells, sleeving, braiding, sealants, boots, transitions, etc.o Assist in determining harness layout through vehicle and branch points for multi-branch harnesses.o Work directly in Capital Harness System (CHS) (aka Mentor Graphics) software, specifically in Harness XC, Capital Logic and Capital TopologySecondary Tasks:
o Working with CAD draftsman to route harnesses in 3D CAD tools (Pro-E and/or NX)o Working with systems engineers to define whole vehicle pin-level interconnect.o Working with physical architects to define harness routing channels, space claims.o Performs other duties as assignedQualifications Sought:
o Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, Electrical Engineeringo Minimum of 3 years work experience is desired in an engineering roleo Ability to balance cost/schedule/technical priorities.o Experience with Microsoft Visio desirable.o Experience with Capital Harness System (CHS) (aka Mentor Graphics) software, specifically in Harness XC, Capital Logic and Capital Topology is desirable.o Experience with Pro-E Creo desirable.o Experience with NX desirable.o Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.o Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.o Ability to use Engineering Development and Test Tools.o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with interdisciplinary teams.o Strong multi-tasking skills.o Strong record keeping skills.o Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.o Proficient in MS Office suite.o Additional Information / Desired Experienceo This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance(Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)o Previous experience with ground combat Vehicle environment is a plus.o Able to bring continuous improvement processes and methodologies to the position.o Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills is requiredWorks well in team and individuallyo Must be able to work occasional evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
