Sell musical instruments such as pianos, keyboards and musical accessories by building and maintaining relationships with customers.
Monthly goal is $60,000+.
$30,000 quota is the minimum requirement.
Insure every customer feels comfortable when you communicate.
Assure no customer is left unsatisfied.
Follow the 5-10-15-1 rule.
Represent AMC well in and outside the store.
Duties:
Greet:
Greet all customers with a smile.
Make them feel welcome as they enter the store.
Say a quick hello or good morning.
Direct:
Customers to the appropriate part of the store by walking them in that direction.
Security:
Guard against shoplifting.
Look people in the eye constantly.
Look at customers eye to eye as they leave asking if they found what they were looking for.
Product and Policy :
Be familiar with store policy and merchandise.
This will help in answering customer's questions.
Service & Lessons :
Make the most of every customer contact.
Get all the information for Service and Lessons Customers, so that they have a great experience.
Actively promote and sign customers up for lessons.
Phone Calls/Emails/Social Media :
Make as many phone calls/send as many emails each day that it take to reach 10 people (with emails, a response).
It may take 50/100 calls/emails.
CRM Entries:
Make a record of who you talk to on the floor or phone to recontact.
If need be, make it on paper first and transfer to the computer later.
Use CRM to plan next point of contact.
Phone/Floor Time:
Will be assigned by manager.
Every day is a floor/phone day.
You can turn repair calls, emails, accessory calls or walk-ins into buying customers by asking what they own and showing them a new or used model you think they should have (something you're excited about).
Presentation:
Be accountable for the appearance of the store and your personal appearance.
Polish guitars, change strings, make sure inventory is merchandised in an attractive manner.
Product Knowledge:
Be an expert.
Read guides.
Talk to Reps.
Read the Trade Magazines.
Product knowledge is essential.
Learn products best features and benefits and learn how to present them.
Personal Business Plan :
Submit a planning calendar or outline of your personal game plan in this business.
Attitude:
Energy, self-motivation and following your manager's direction and training are key to this position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
